The Canny collar has been a life changer for me! I have a 10 month golden retriever that’s a strong puller and so distracted that a prong collar was not effective. The first time using the Canny collar was unbelievable! My pup walked right beside me on a loose leash and she got used to wearing it in no time.
I have used the Gentle Leader in the past but I really like the design of the Canny collar where it clips behind the head instead of under the chin. It keeps the head from turning to the side if she pulls so I think it is more comfortable for the dog.
I would highly recommend this collar for anyone who struggles walking their dog.
I have an instafamous 85lb amstaff who pulls so much on the leash. I have tried everything (literally everything!!) to work on it including trainers, gear, treats, and hundreds of hours using different approaches to walks to attempt getting around without it feeling like a battle of wills. If this sounds like you, get this!!
As a last ditch effort I ordered one of these collars. It WORKS! He pulls significantly less, and when he does pull the pressure is so evenly distributed I barely feel it and he slows down instead of leaning into it more like he did with other collars and harnesses.
I may need to reorder a size down as I followed the measurement guide and it ended up being a little big.

The Canny collar and leash are amazing! It is the only system that we have found that stops our 2 large dogs from pulling . Also love that it is adjustable and can be turned into a regular collar and leash without the nose piece.

I bought my first one from Amazon and it was too small. After contacting CannyCo directly, I sent them said collar and they immediately sent me the next size up for free!! My freight train of a pooch no longer pulls and was acclimated after two short walks. This company is absolutely top tier on all levels. Walks with 2 dogs - my 10 year old black lab and 15 week old yellow lab are so much better with Canny Collar. Both are pullers and between them, they have 100lbs. Instead of constantly having to stop when they’re pulling, canny collar just stops them from pulling. I’ve had multiple hip surgeries on a defect on my left hip and my right hip has the same condition but haven’t had surgery for it, canny collar allows me to be able to safely enjoy walks with my girls. I’ve been a huge advocate of Canny Collar since Ginny was a pup, and I’ll continue to be with our Luna. That’s a decade of using canny collar and many more to come.
We are loving the canny collar it’s night and day walking our golden and we couldn’t be happier!
Fantastic. It’s like a harness for a pony but for the tank of a dog I have. St. Bernard. Now he I so controllable. Very easy and painless to go on walks with.
